CMS Agreement: Claims Handling System
SDM Agreement (Material Damage Claims)
This property damage claims handling system was created in 2002 with the aim of facilitating the fast and efficient handling of motor vehicle claims that cannot be resolved through the CIDE and ASCIDE agreements.
For example, it is used in the following cases:
1. Crashes where there is no direct collision between vehicles.
2. Accidents involving more than two vehicles.
3. Damage caused by the detached load.
4. Additional losses such as business interruption, loss of profits, or damage to property other than the vehicle, such as glasses, helmet, clothing, etc.
The platform TIREA provides insurers with the SDM system as a tool for the management of these cases.
